About the Role

We are searching for an enthusiastic and hardworking Operations Coordinator. This is a dynamic role that will see the successful applicant working across all areas of our rapidly growing small business including retail assistance on the shop floor as well as online operations. You will be reporting to our Director, working closely with our team to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and overseeing online operations including customer service and processing of orders on Shopify with key focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct quality checks on products before shipment to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner

  • Retail assistance on shop floor as required

  • Providing a welcoming and memorable customer service experience both online and in store 

  • Working with the team, creating a safe, positive, hardworking and inclusive working environment

  • Daily management of stock

  • Team rostering

This is a full-time position that requires a people-person with strong organizational skills, and maturity. You will be trusted to manage your responsibilities with minimal supervision, and be adaptable to the ever changing nature of our business. The successful candidate may be asked to attend paid training in the store prior to the commencement of their full-time contract.

 

Our Ideal Fit 

  • Someone who has a strong retail background with previous retail experience.

  • High attention to detail.

  • A proactive, positive, and confident person with a can-do/problem solving attitude.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Shopify experience is ideal but not necessary.

  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced working environment.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 

  • Someone who aligns with our company values and brand messaging
